Hello genks, I will tell you again about my activities on campus today. Today we will make Lapis legit. but today I have a turn for personal cooking. What I will make today is Ayam Betutu, Lawar Kacang, and sambel matah. Why did I take this dish? because I want to make food from my own area, Bali.

I want to share a little about Balinese Betutu Chicken :

Betutu is a Balinese dish of steamed or roasted chicken or duck in rich bumbu betutu (betutu spice mix). This highly seasoned and spiced dish is a popular dish in Bali and Lombok, Indonesia. An even spicier version is available using extra-spicy sauce made from uncooked (raw) onion slices mixed with red chili peppers and coconut oil.

Betutu is a richly spiced Balinese poultry dish. It is often called according to its main ingredients; ayam betutu is chicken betutu, while bebek betutu is the duck version. This traditional dish can be found on the menu of luxury hotels or restaurants in Bali, and it is popular among tourists.

Okay, then we will discuss the manufacturing step:

The first one I prepared was chicken towing first, then cut it into 8 parts.


Then, prepare all the spices that I will use, starting from the betutu chicken seasoning to the sambal matah.

After that, I prepared the vegetables, cut the long beans and then blanced.


Furthermore, the chicken that has been cut is glazed with spices that have been chopped before.


Then add water, then boil until the liquid is a little.


Next, to make the vegetable fried sliced shallot, garlic and bird's eye chilli and add the shrimp paste.

Then roast the grated coconut until golden brown. Then mixed with spices and long beans that have been blanced.


To make the sambal mat, just shallot slice, lamon leaf, bird's aye chilli, and lamongress then mix it all with oil and add salt & pepper.

Then, serve betutu chicken, lawar bean and matah sambel with white rice.
